Hello everyone!
Happy March! Happy spring! I hope you all are feeling fabulous! This will serve as our official spring celebration newsletter, which I feel like we’ve been hinting about if not totally anticipating for a couple of weeks now.
Since I’m in teacher mode lately, I made a “check in” for spring to see how you all are currently feeling about the weather, life, the future? Feel free to respond in the comments…
I think I’m a 2 and also a 5 atm :- D
I’m including some spring moodboard pictures, to give you my full vibe. I’m feeling pretty excited by things in general... I know it’s really corny, but lately I keep finding myself randomly smiling in spite of myself when it’s sunny and breezy outside. The weather makes me feel happy and hopeful and the future suddenly feels full of promise! Woohoo!
Here’s a drawing I made recently that is inspired by playing soccer at the park cuz I’m learning to really become great at soccer. Did you all know about a “nutmeg”? Well, I just found out last weekend what that was. I need to get some power behind my kicks!! And yes I’m using the side of my foot. Anyone want to play????
Recommendations/If you’re looking for something to CONSUME via the INTERNET:

Hi stranger!
This is Jess. I hope this email finds you in the sweet, sweet midst of enjoyment. I’m still swept up in the Spring hopefulness and, at risk of sounding naive, feeling like a future of engaging with the world and with each other is coming into focus. As I anticipate future congregation I’ve been researching a suggestions for greetings, and wanted to share some findings for you and yours to whip out as you see fit:
Oiii hope you found this helpful! Time to hit the pavement and give some of these babies a whirl.
A Mini Moodboard
Some inspo for the energy I’m bringing with me into the warmer months…
And some more…
A Movie Recommendation
I recently watched Elaine May’s A New Leaf with Sophie’s and my roommate, Liza, which belongs to a specific comedy subgenre defined by cornerstones of unassuming fun and idealism, and feels very pure at heart. The plot centers around a rich boy that loses his fortune and has to find a wealthy bride in order for him maintain his lifestyle. Enter Henrietta, a sweet and clumsy botany professor who dreams of discovering a new species of fern, played by May herself. May’s writing is untouched by time, and though the movie was recut and released against her wishes, her sense of humor and originality still shines through in the final product. I laughed out loud multiple times.
That’s all! Thanks guys, love you,
Jess and Sophie
Don’t be shy!!
